Gratitude

If you're not careful, creating art can become a very self-absorbed and narrow-minded venture, leading to a lot of alone time. The pressure of playing the social media game, trying to stay "relevant" (whatever that means), and paying too much attention to what everyone else is doing can be detrimental. These are the Creative Killers that can creep in and drain the soul from your art. I’ll admit that I have fallen prey to this tricky mindset, and that's the point of this reflection. But at the end of the day, I am making art and pursuing my dreams, so I have no room to complain about any of it.

This brings me to GRATITUDE and YOU!

I want to take a moment to acknowledge everyone who has stopped by my booth, visited my space, browsed my website, or engaged with my posts on Instagram. My work is nothing without being shared and appreciated by others, and I have been reflecting on this for a while now.

So, from the bottom of my heart—thank you!

There’s much more to come!
